Chris Kaman was granted a German passport in XXXXXXXMONTHXXXXXXXX after a magazine in Germany this winter discovered that the Los Angeles Clippers star had great grandparents who were German. The center is a force on the blocks who will undoubtedly help Germany in their quest for the Olympics. Kaman has strong inside moves and can run the floor well for a man his size. He is a tremendous rebounder, an excellent shot-blocker and an underrated passer. Teaming Kaman with Nowitzki gives National Team Coach Dirk Bauermann plenty of options offensively. And Kaman is the intimidator in the middle which would allow the defensive-minded Bauermann to order his wing players to take more risks. The question remains how quick Kaman can be integrated into the team.
