Brian Beshara-Feghali has been a key member of the Lebanon National Team since 2005, when he helped his adopted country capture a silver medal at the FIBA Asia Championship. After playing at the FIBA World Championship the following year in Japan, Beshara again helped the Lebanese claim Asian silver last year.
Born in Dallas, he stayed in Texas to play at Rice University but transferred after his freshman season to Louisiana State University where he averaged around 11 points and six rebounds in his three seasons with the Tigers. He started his professional career in 2001 in Lebanon and spent three years with Sagesse Beirut, winning the Lebanese championship each season. He averaged 11.3 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists this season with El Moutahed.
