Career: Yonsei college (Korea, 2003-06), Anyang KT&G Kites (Korea-KBL, 2007-08).
“Yang the handsome”, is one of the most popular guys among the Korean players. He played with Lee Gwang-jae and Kim Tae-sool during their time at the Yonsei College. So, those three players know each other very well. He’s an all around player and the best outside defender on this team. He is a kind of Korean Bruce Bowen – but not a dirty player – who showed his great defensive skills at the 2007 Asian championship. By the way, he was the only Korean playing all the games as a starter. His main weakness could be his soft mind and an excess of…altruism. He tends to avoid clutch situation, preferring pass the ball even though he gets an open shot opportunity. Last season, Yang led KT&G to the KBL’s Final Four (7,7 pts, 3,5 rbs in 26 minutes).
