Career: Koper (Slovenia-1A, 2000-03), Pivovarna Lasko (Slovenia-1A, 2003-05), Hemofarm Vrsac (Serbia-Montenegro, 2005-08).
Joksimovic didn’t play last year for the National Team. This athletic 27-year-old shooting guard had a good showing this season with Hemofarm, flashing a production of 11.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.4 steals. He isn’t that famous in Europe, but he can get the job done, and is known to be an aggressive player. A savvy player in the Adriatic League, he still needs to show what he can do on the international scene. For that he will have to crack Ales Pipan’s final roster. The fact that he was pre-selected this year for the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament is a positive sign. Pipan believes in him. A strong performance could mean a change of scenery for this young guard.
