Career: Würzburg (Germany-2.Bundesliga, 1997-98), Würzburg (Germany-Bundesliga, 1998-2002), Leverkusen (Germany-Bundesliga, 2002-05), Berlin (Germany-Bundesliga, 2005-07), Bamberg (Germany-Bundesliga, 2007-08).
Demond Greene has developed into one of Germany's leaders - both in the Bundesliga at Bamberg and the National Team. A former long jumper, Greene is a tremendous athlete who drives into the lane and can finish while also beating teams from the outside. He also is a lock-down defender who fit perfectly into the system of Bauermann at Bamberg. Greene struggled at times this season with foot injuries but appears to have no after-effects from the broken ankle suffered last season. Greene also has a great relationship with Dirk Nowitzki as the two played in Germany together along with Robert Garrett. On the German team that reached the Eighth-Finals of the 2006 FIBA World Championship, Greene averaged 9.2 points in 27 minutes per game.
