Sven Schultze had an outstanding year at Armani Jeans Milano but sadly missed EuroBasket 2007 with an irregular heart beat that was diagnosed during the training camp just days before the start of the tournament. Schultze is a physical, blue-collar player who can create mismatches at both the small and power forward spots. He can run the floor very well and hit the three-pointer from just about anywhere. Schultze is becoming a better passer and will be a welcome returnee to Bauermann's mix. His offensive punch off the bench will come in handy when the opposition focuses on Dirk Nowitzki. Schultze also has three years of experience in the strong Italian top flight to call upon.
