Faty was not part of the 2007 team, but his season in Angola with Desportivo Huila thrust him back into contention for a place in the group. His recent performance against Africa giants Primero de Agosto - 14 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks – made him look like a dominant center. Next season, Faty will play for Primero de Agosto after signing a two-year deal.
